If the parking lot has a ton of spaces, I honestly don’t care. If it’s full or close to it, then this type of parking is an issue.

The M3 drivers I see commuting are just total dicks, they just feel like we have to see and hear their car change lanes five million times and get no further because all the lights in the city prevent it. Then they park.... Tesla people here too, oh we are so impressed by your speed from the stop and how green you are with the NOGAAAS reissued CA 60's black plate. I can’ wait for EVs to be more normal and the smug can go away.

BMW Roundel, Fulton County tag, and a Hilton Head sticker. In the South, this is known as the Trifecta of Douche . None of them alone is a problem. Taken together, they form a Voltron of suck.
There are several of them, though. Another one would be a lifted pickup, YETI sticker, and any fraternity name. Or a mid-80s donk, purple glitter paint, and an “In loving memory” sticker filling up the back window.
You know you’ve seen all of them a million times.

I’ve done this lots too, but are you not scared that they will mess with your car somehow, like smack it with their door, in retaliation? Where I am parking lots are 50/50 for insurance responsibility no matter what so that route doesn’t help and it would be silly to get the police involved. My cars have always been too shitty for me to care but with your Jag I would worry

That’s a $60k truck, doubtful they’d do something like that. Now if it was a 1990 GMC
, then I’d be more careful. A lot of times people who park like that are doing it intentionally because they don’t want anyone parking next to their “precious vehicle” because they’re more special than everyone else around them.

I don’t necessarily disagree with your reasoning, but I think that someone who deliberately takes up more space for their vehicle would also be the same kind of person to “fuck with another man’s automobile” a la keying it or some other attack that doesn’t hurt their vehicle.

I don’t mean to argue, I actually do that as well . But I always question if going to small claims is worth it, as any criminal charges are unlikely to make you whole even if they can be proven (which from what I understand the photo would not be sufficient evidence in and of itself, as it does not show the act). If it would be a no fault and no deductible for yourself to make an insurance claim the photo might help, but as I mentioned aboveboard that won’t work where I am, but your mileage may vary.
I don’t know if I could do it in something as nice as your Jag, or even in something I even half care about, even if I am very susceptible to the want to dole out sweet sweet street justice. I certainly wouldn’t want to decide to keep it real...and have it go wrong. That being said no judgement and I would applaud you for doing something I couldn’t!

Nothing. Look at Ash78’s comment. This pic isn’t in Atlanta but this bmw is registered in the Atlanta area. Luxury German car plus HHI/OBX sticker in that area means they’re probably a self absorbed douche who is the type that sees nothing wrong with taking two spots in the front row. Exceptions exist of course but stereotypes exist for a reason.
